Coronary bypass sugery or coronary bypass graft. Usually due to coronary artery that supply the heart was narrowed or known as artheroscelorosis. Coronary blood vessel is one of the special artery and it was charactered as less anastomosing. Therefore increase its percentage to have artheroscelorosis that can cause death.
Our vessel is variable. Can be either constrict or dilate. Otherwise increase in cardiac work, will increase the metabolite such as CO2 , H , ADP, K (pottasium) and so, the vessel will become vasodilatation to increase the blood flow for ensure enough O2 supply for heart consumption. There were many factors that influence coronary blod flow. Chemical, autoregulation, neural and reflec. All of that will regulate blood vessel radius according the requirement of the heart.
